Important Dates for MCF2018!

Term 3 is going to be very busy for the Senior Choir. In the weeks leading up to the performance it is important that ALL choir members are frequently reviewing the songs and choreography (dance moves). These are all available on the 'Student Page' on the Massed Choir Festival Website

Below are some important dates.

21.08.2018 (Tuesday, Week 6, Term 3) - Cluster Rehearsal at Churchlands Senior High School

11.09.2018 (Tuesday, Week 9, Term 3) - Main Rehearsal at the Perth Concert Hall

13.09.2018 (Thursday, Week 9, Term 3) - Technical Rehearsal and Performance at the Perth Concert Hall.

2018 Massed Choir Festival

Welcome back to Term 2! Congratulations on such a wonderful performance at the ANZAC ceremony. You all sung beautifully and you helped make the ceremony very special.

This term we are continuing to practice our songs for the 2018 Massed Choir Festival. We have 10 fantastic songs to learn, and you will need to practice these songs at home.

Below is a link for the Massed Choir Festival. At the bottom of the page is a green button to login to the Student Page. The password is given out in choir rehearsal, and if you have forgotten it please ask Mr Honey for it again.

 Senior Choir Update!

The songs for our upcoming performance have been changed! We are no longer performing Flashlight and are now performing Lanterns by Birds of Tokyo. Below are the lyrics for you to memorise!

New Song!

Welcome back Senior Choir!

I have gone through all of the song suggestions that you submitted and picked one which was suggested by a few different students and I think we can do a really good job with it!

I would like to thank you all for your suggestions. I enjoyed listening to them all, and hopefully we can learn some of them later in the year.

Senior Choir Uniforms

The uniform is an important part of the choir as we want to look just as good as we sound! Choir shirts are provided by the school, however students will need to make sure they have black trousers and black shoes for performances. Black trousers do not include leggings/tights, or tracksuit pants as it is important that uniforms are as similar as possible.

Please be aware that our first performance is on Thursday, 6th April, so students will need to have organised trousers and shoes by Tuesday, 4th April at the very latest.
